Hey everyone! I'm helping support an incredible initiative called Brooklyn Builds the Future, and I'm reaching out to this community to ask for your help. What is it? Brooklyn Builds the Future is an Innovation & Career Fest happening Friday, April 17th at St. Francis College in downtown Brooklyn. The event will bring together 300+ high school and college students for hands-on tech demos, workshops, career speed networking, hackathons, and internship interviews. The goal is to expose young people from underserved communities to careers in tech, STEAM, and entrepreneurship. Why I care: Many of these students have never met a software engineer, a product manager, a designer, or anyone working in tech. They don't know what's possible. Events like this can change that. Here's where you come in: Does your company have a community, education, or CSR budget? We're looking for sponsors at all levels. If your employer supports education initiatives, workforce development, or community engagement, I'd love to make an introduction. Even a small sponsorship makes a difference. Would you or someone on your team want to participate? We need professionals for career speed networking, workshop facilitation, hackathon mentorship, and hands-on demos. If you've ever wished someone had shown you what a tech career looks like when you were younger, this is your chance to be that person. π Know someone who might be interested? If you have connections to companies, foundations, or individuals who care about investing in the next generation, I'd appreciate a warm intro. π£ Help spread the word. Even if you can't sponsor or attend, sharing this with your network helps. I'm happy to send over the event deck with full details and sponsorship tiers to anyone interested. Just drop a comment or DM me! Thanks for reading.
