Tightknit Release Notes (March 10, 2026)

π New: API Keys in Studio Weβve introduced a new version of API Keys, now managed directly in Studio. Legacy API keys are still visible for reference, but new legacy keys can no longer be created, and API key management has been removed from Slack App Home. Going forward, all API keys should be created and managed in Studio. Instead of a single all-powerful key, you can also create keys with specific permissions for different parts of the platform. What you should do:
Review any integrations using legacy API keys
Migrate them to the new Studio-managed API keys
Delete old keys once the migration is complete
This update provides a more secure and centralized way to manage API access.

New: Combined organization and workspace picker The organization and workspace picker in studio have been consolidated into a single selector. Since each community has its own workspace, this simplifies navigation and management. Review Studio user management settings and confirm the right users have the correct roles.

Studio
Custom Email Domains now configurable in Studio - Customers on Enterprise plans who want to use their own branded domain can configure a Custom Email Domain directly in Studio.
Member profiles now show all custom fields - Empty custom profile fields will now display an βIncompleteβ status instead of disappearing, making it easier to see which profile information still needs to be filled out.
Studio Overview member filter now updates counts correctly - Fixed an issue where changing the member filter (All, Humans only, Bots only) did not update the Total Members count on the Overview page.
Slack
Schedule polls to go live in the future - Poll creators can now schedule polls in advance, allowing you to prepare community questions ahead of events, announcements, or launches.

π Custom Email Domains (Pilot) As part of our Notifications pilot, members can subscribe to posts, feeds, or users and receive updates via email. With Custom Email Domains, Enterprise admins can now control where those notification emails are sent from. Instead of a generic Tightknit sender, you can configure notifications to come from your own branded domain (e.g. [email protected]) directly in Studio. This gives your community stronger brand consistency, improved email trust, and a more seamless white-labeled experience.

Studio
Added Custom Notification Email Domain to tenant schema (Pilot) - Backend support added to power the new self-serve email domain setup.
Admins can now add community members to the Site directly (Enterprise-only) - Enterprise admins can invite or add members themselves via Studio, no more sending member lists for backend setup.
Studio overview date range now updates correctly - Changing the date range now reloads data, updates the URL, and allows proper end-date selection.
Resolved intermittent βIncorrect permissionsβ error - Fixed an issue where Studio could incorrectly display a permissions error.
Studio sidebar now behaves more intuitively - Adjusted expand/collapse behavior to reduce unexpected layout shifts.
Web App
