Moderation Q and related thoughts For a Slack-first Community, how are you moderating your workspace?

  • People reply with a reaction which triggers a workflow

  • Using a 3rd-party tool for members to report a post and then for you to review them

  • With a custom Slack app for reporting messages

—— Musings:

  • Moderation helps build member trust, so can it be invisible or should it be public to an extent

  • Balancing building trust with members while having a privacy-first mindset is challenging

Love early morning thoughts! For now doing things manually as our community is still small. I do like moderation to be both visible but also private if members choose to go that route. I like how Kaela A. has this setup in Salesblazer community
