I'm reading about Clay's GTM success on First Round. LOVED this part:
Anand ended every single reverse demo the same way: “I wouldn’t end the call until this person had joined our Slack group. We removed Intercom support from our product, so you had to join Slack to get help. I would literally have them type in clay.com/slack, join it, send me a DM and only then would I hang up the Zoom call.” (More on the thinking behind this decision here)
We have the same exact playbook! Why force someone into a deal cycle or a support email when we could chat over Slack?
