Setting Up a Changelog Channel: Best Practices and Insights

If you or your team are trying to set up a Changelog channel similar to Changelog, this is the approach we’ve taken
Manual Sync: We use the Post to Site shortcut to only push messages from our team. Other members are welcome to post in there but those messages do not go to the main site.
New Post Notification: We do this pretty broadly across our community for transparency but here it’s especially useful for showing members of the community how to share the changelog if anything is relevant for sharing with their team
Related Discussions: Lots of our launches are related to previous launches. We try our best to use AI to resurface content from previous changelogs to keep people interested in reading more.
Let me know if this helps! We’ve also considered creating a new UX for changelogs that would show the entire post when scrolling (similar to most timeline-oriented changelog UIs)
