Sync Issues with Event Channel and Companion Site Posting

We have a channel where we post events. This channel is set to auto sync. I set up two events in Tightknit, posted them to the channel and also set them to post to the companion site as an event. They both showed up in Events, but neither synced to the channel discussion on the companion site. My ideal solution here is to not sync the channel and only post in events, however, we're looking to embed the events on our main website and there doesn't appear to be a way to embed events, where there is the beta embed on a channel from the companion site. Am I missing something, or is the sync not behaving as expected?

Andrina Kelly, it is working as expected, but I think there’s a gap in our capability that we want to resolve for you. Events surface a bit differently than posts. You’ll see them on the feed’s far right corner (pictured below). That said, I do understand what you’re trying to achieve. Here’s a fix I think we could implement to fix this:
If we allowed you to embed the Events list (yours found here), then you wouldn’t need a feed to enable this behavior. You could take the Events list and embed it into your website. I’ll create a ticket for this and prioritize it for our upcoming sprint cycle.

Yes - exactly, that would be the preferred approach. The workaround I was considering would have duplicate data on the companion site. Thanks!

Andrina Kelly Embedded events are now in production! Please let us know what you think or if you have any additional feedback. We also went ahead and now allow you to hide/show the filters in the embed
