Companion Page Sync Issue Linked to Slack Upgrade and Integration

potential bug (edge case I guess) I noticed our companion page hasn’t been synced for ~4 days. Probably due to not making the slack upgrade → that removed the TightKnit integration → had to reconnect it → caused no resync even though it’s still all set. CC Zach H.

    I think I see what happened. Let me see if I can explain it back:

    • Your workspace had more than 10 apps during the Pro trial, and then when the trial ended, Tightknit was removed from the workspace.

    • Now that you’ve reinstalled Tightknit, you aim to get the last 5 days of content back.

    Let me know if that is right Marvin A. We’re still working on the ability to go back and sync all previous messages, so unfortunately, I recommend you add each of these messages individually (or at least the ones you care about).

    Yes —but I reinstalled TightKnit pretty much instantly. So I didn’t expect such a big gap..:S How do I now make sure all new posts will be synced?

    I see. So posts are STILL not syncing even after you’ve installed the app a few days ago? If so, let me know and we can hop on a quick huddle

    Hopped on a call with Marvin, and we found the answer. When the app was removed from the workspace, it was also removed from all channels. When we added Tightknit back to the channels it fixed the problem.
