Shoutout to {{formatUser "U089G4LHNCE" ""}} for coming up with a great idea today to get users to post in a thread (something ALL of us have experienced frequently in Slack). Here’s our ballpark idea, but we wanted to get people’s thoughts on if they would find this useful: Phase I • If a user posts in the same channel within 1 minute of themselves… • Then post in the thread of the second message, “Please use threading” with a link to a Slack best practice in our documentation (or an external site) Phase II • Using AI 🪄 Evaluate if the second message is actually related to message one Please let us know in the thread. {{formatUser "U06TH2C82R5" ""}} {{formatUser "U06G71RU602" ""}} Feel like you will have ideas on this.
