Hey Kat E.! Zach is putting me on the spot here, haha. I am definitely not an expert (yet), but I can share what we are seeing so far 🙂
I've moved a community from Facebook to Mighty Networks in the past and the biggest thing I learned was to keep the overlap period short to keep the momentum from splitting between two places.
For the tech-savvy piece, that is a big reason why we are excited to have Tightknit. We have plenty of members who aren't Slack savvy or just can't use the Slack app at work, so we are hoping the web view and directory make it feel more like a community home and be easier for those folks to access and interact with the community. We haven't done our big reveal to members yet, but the Luma integration for events is something members have already noticed and appreciate.
We are still figuring it out as we go but happy to chat more as we settle in!
