Hello from Toronto, Canada! 👋 I’m Agata. I’ve been building communities pretty much my whole working life. My job titles just needed a hot minute to catch up—and so did my realization that what I was doing actually had a name. For the last four years, I built a community from scratch through workshops, meetups, WhatsApp groups, a mentor program, and plenty of conversations. Eventually, it became so woven into the organization that it was hard to remember a time without it. Since I left, those programs have kept running. That’s something I’m proud of: building a community where people have the connections, ownership, and tools to keep things going beyond you. I’d reached the ceiling of what I could do there, so now I’m looking for my next opportunity. I’m especially interested in roles that connect community, customer insight, partnerships, and social. I love bringing people together—and making sure what we learn from them actually shapes what the organization does next. There are so many ways community work shows up across different roles.
