Opening a can of worms here but has anyone any experience with deactivating a large number of users? (1,000+)?

You can use the admin.users.remove method in Slack's API: https://api.slack.com/methods/admin.users.remove if on an Enterprise plan. I don’t think this works with the free plan. Haven’t tried it, but this is a paid product that claims handle it: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bulk-slack-user-deactivat/bbklkhjijobpamjeemohloddompcehkc?hl=en

Also maybe a future tightknit add-on. The ability to bulk remove folks based on activity CC: Zach H.

Max P. if we had the APIs, it would be lovely, but ya Enterprise Grid is the only that gets those as Scott specified. I think at best we could build a Chrome extension to show you that insight.
