👋 We just launched our companion site: https://community.gamma.app/ 🎉 Does anybody here have some must-do best practices for SEO? Asking as someone with almost zero knowledge on SEO. 😅

Not sure if there are “tactics” per se, but I recommend adding a clear Description to every channel (we use that as the SEO description) Most of the SEO juice comes from quality conversations in the community. We do a lot on the backend to help you improve SEO, including SEO-enhanced titles for each message

Amanda R. - we have a few sections on our main site like community member written articles that talk about the challenges we know our audience has for higher funnel SEO. But truthfully, we get a lot of organic traffic from our brand name - women in tech SEO. It’s something people search on their own without really knowing our community exists yet. You’re also welcome to join our free slack and ask questions of a bunch of really smart SEOs - truthfully I don’t know why they continue to let me work in this industry as I’ve technically never actually done SEO work 🫣 https://www.womenintechseo.com/join/
