Tightknit Release Notes (Nov 15, 2024)
We've got lots of big headlines this week. Trust us, you'll want to check them all out!
🏠 App Home Makeover
The Tightknit App Home got a major facelift. We consolidated settings, integrated self-service help features, added Quick Actions, and much more. The organization of the different modules makes much more visual sense. New to the stage are the Moderation and Member Engagement modules! Read more on our docs site. We've also added an educational onboarding flow the first time an admin interacts a module, giving them a clearer understanding of its features and functionality.
🕵️♂️ Anonymous Posts
Honest feedback? Anonymous kudos? There are plenty of scenarios for which you'd want to let your users send messages anonymously. Now it's as easy as typing /anonymous
in the chat! Admins can configure which channels have Anonymous Posts enabled under the Engagement Settings for each channel. Learn more.
🔰 Badge Activity Log
We've made it easier to admire your achievements. Keep track of the Badges you've received and the Badges you've given to other users, inside the Badges Log modal (renamed from My Badges modal). Admins will have an additional view to see all Badge activity amongst all users.
⚖️ Community Guidelines
Community managers agree that your guidelines are one of the most important yet often overlooked pillars that define the identity of your community. When you register your guidelines with Tightknit, we display them on the /community-guidelines
page of your companion site. Need some inspiration? Hit that magic ✨Generate with AI
button to automatically generate some Community Guidelines for you! Learn more.We also have big plans in the future to integrate your guidelines with AI moderation and the new user welcome message, so don't wait!
