Feature Requests for Member-to-Member Connection in Justice HQ Community Platform
Hi all π Emily from Justice HQ β we're a paid membership community for the plaintiff-side legal ecosystem, currently migrating over from Hivebrite. Journeys, awards, and the SlackβοΈsite feed sync have all been working well for us. So excited to be here, and to be building with Tightknit!
Three feature requests, all in the same area β member-to-member connection:
1. Semantic search over member profiles
`list_members` matches on name today. We'd love plain-language search that returns people β "who here has tried a trucking case in Texas?", "which members scaled from solo to 20+ attorneys?" β ideally surfacing the threads where the topic came up. Since `search_posts` and `search_comments` already index conversation content, the gap looks like getting member profiles into that same index. This is the one we'd use most.
2. A member DM / match-delivery endpoint
Something that takes a pair of members plus intro copy, delivers it as a Slack DM in a shared thread, and tracks delivery and replies. We're not asking for matching logic β that's community-specific and we're happy to bring our own. Just the delivery and tracking layer. Right now there's no generic post or DM tool on the admin surface, only poll and event announcements.
3. Applications β approval queue β Stripe handoff
An application form, an admin queue with one-click accept/decline, payment handoff, and approved applicants auto-provisioned as members and invited to Slack. We can stitch this together with Zapier for now β mostly want to know whether it's on the roadmap.
Happy to give more detail on any of these. Curious if other communities here want the same things, especially #1! Also -- it's possible some of you may have figured out workaround functionality that generates a similar outcome. If so, I'd love to hear!
