Hi All! We are setting up an onboarding video/guide link that we want to add to the Tightknit onboarding DM. Could anyone tell me if it's possible to trigger a badge once someone clicks on the link to watch the onboarding video? For example, if I set up an onboarding Journey with the below milestones, is there a way for TightKnit to identify that a new member has clicked/watched the video on the 2nd CTA?
Introduce on intro channel
Watch the onboarding guide (in the auto DM)
Register for an event
its called Hexus hexus.ai. I assume there would then have to be an api between the 2? I suppose it might be unlikely. any other tools that we could use or even any workaround suggestions? I did a workaround from a slide deck...and asked people to check out the deck on a channel and reply on the channel with "Got It" and from a technical perspective it worked but we didn't role it out so am not sure if it would be effective/best practice.
It's possible we could do this with APIs but I'm not aware of hexus capabilities. I've seen some communities use a reaction emoji on a post to validate things like this before
okay thanks!
Yes, we've done it for both Tightknit+Slack instances we've spun up now. You post a welcome video with a short message asking them to react after they've watched, and in the journey, you have people get that step checked off when they react to a specific message with an emoji (you can map it to a specific emoji but we've not opted to do that). It's an honor system obviously, but a pretty elegant workaround.
