Looking for social impact projects in communications and audience engagement

Hi everyone, my name is Irina (or Ira for short), and I’m happy to be here! For the past three years, I’ve been working as a marketer at an independent media outlet, the job is unpredictable, sometimes stressful, but exciting. I currently live in Europe (in Italy, to be precise), and I want to immerse myself in the local (I mean european in general) context of work with social impact. I feel that working on socially meaningful initiatives is what I want to do with my life (my attempts to work in marketing agencies and commercial projects have only convinced me of this even more), so I’m currently looking for projects I could join as a communications specialist, an audience engagement expert, and someone who can explain the essence of an organization’s work to the public in plain language. I love identifying people’s needs and figuring out how to meet them, and I know how to listen attentively and be sensitive to the person I’m talking to.
