Welcome to the Team: A Formal Introduction!

Hi gang, I've been in here a while but never formally introduced myself, here goes:

After some years in Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Surveying, as a top-tier support specialist for Autodesk's software, I had the opportunity to change careers and manage strategy and programs for their very old (one of the oldest in the enterprise space I believe) community - at the time (2009) it had 1.5M monthly unique visitors!
We were a Lithium customer at the time, I went annually to their HQ in Emeryville to give feedback and get roadmap updates, those were fun times (reminds me of the Tightknit team now).
I ended up as Director of Social Strategy Consulting in EMEA for them
Since I've work in community and digital support, content and knowledge strategy for semiconductors and medical devices with stints in Design Thinking and CX and coaching too
I'm exploring AI as we all are, how to add real value rather than just jump on the bandwagon. Interested in the dispersion of community skills into other areas, like Customer Marketing, HR, VOC programs, CX, etc.

I'm always curious and learning, seeing the "big picture" as a systems thinker and wanting to put all the pieces together and connect people/teams/ideas/processes wherever I work. Both human- and customer-centric and also a data geek. American but living now in Switzerland for 20 years this December (became Swiss 5 years ago). Got to chat over dinner with Zach H. in London some months back about the future and sci-fi and all kinds of crazy stuff! I love the vibe of the team and only wish I had a project to use Tightknit - not yet but we'll see... I'm currently doing some consulting engagements and crafting my next stage in life. Also a lifelong devotee of health and wellbeing, chocolate and coffee snob, selvedge denim nerd and love me a good recipe to try. Happy to chat anytime!
