I'm offering time to new members as they join just to hear about their experience with us so far and what they want from the community; then if they share a question, story or something that's worked well for them I'll typically suggest a channel where they could share that with the group to celebrate together or for their input

My working theory is the members don't like being the first to post a comment or discussion; I've seen success with teeing certain members up to contribute in their DMs or in a meeting, and then generally find once there's some engagement it grows naturally from there
