Tips for getting members engaged in the first 90 days

Carrie

October 13, 2026

Heya everyone! I'm starting an online community from scratch. Does anyone have any tips/advice on how to get members to be actively engaged within the first 90 days? Struggling to get even a reaction from a post. I'd love to know what really worked for you!

Hey Carrie, I feel for you. This is tough. In the past, I have had 1-1 calls with members and then post a screenshot of it in the community with ways that people could connect with that person. I tried to turn 1-1 calls to 1-many interactions as much possible. This was a few years ago, but eventually it led to traction. People saw me trying and then wanted to connect with me more, creating more momentum! Sending good vibes!
