Registering Members for Zoom: Handling Recurring Events and Webhooks

I love that there's a webhook to register members to Zoom calls. Has anyone done this with recurring events? If it's a recurring event in Zoom, since there's just one meeting ID, how does it know which one they're registering for? We want to make sure they get the right confirmation email with the date/zoom link. Should we not use recurring events in Zoom for this reason?
