Clarification on Event Registration Milestones for Journeys

Hey folks. For the "Register for an Event" milestone: I'm planning on using that for two of my Journeys. The first will require user to Register 1x and then I'd like them to have to register for another event 1x. Tl;dr - Cumulative two events registered for. The way Tightknit works, would I set the second milestone as "register for event 2x" as I want them to have registered for at least 2 events total, or would I put 1x as when they start a new journey, counts begin again. I'm thinking it's the former but wanted to double check. TY!
