Events x lead gen x microsite is anyone using their events landing page in a (custom??) way so that folks can reg for events, and then from the microsite, fires off automations into internal systems for tracking purposes? (i.e. hubspot, sfdc, etc) or! is tightknit capable of this today?
It's been on my TODO list since we introduced the ability to login from the site Just so I'm clear, you're not asking for customers to be able to register on the microsite, you are just looking for the click to be tracked? I assume you want it to attribute to the user who clicks it? One thing to note, is that in order to attribute it to an individual user we'd need to push them to login on the site side. Would that be okay for this flow?
If you're just trying to get total count, I'd recommend adding a ?ref=tightknit to the end of the event so that it's being picked up as coming from Tightknit
hey Zach H. good intel, thanks! for this specific use case, it would be registration happening on the microsite > funnels into hubspot > SFDC > attaches to campaign, etc. Right now these end up being one-off pages and requires lots of web work from the web team, but if Community can replace those efforts, a win in my book!
Yes this makes sense. So just to be clear though, Tightknit would handle the registration and unregistration for these events. Are they all virtual?
how do you define 'unregistration' here? or youre just saying in general if someone didnt want to go anymore? and this would be events that arent vanta webibars (since those have a dedicated separate team and web landing page). SO more of advocacy stuff, stuff you attended, etc
I just want to understand the full scope of what we mean by "event". Is there another event platform that we are pushing registrations to or would we handle the registrations for the event? Natasha K. might be good to get details from Jacob in the next sync.
Yes happy to chat about this tomorrow in our sync and dig more into the details!
ah yes, got it! understood; Natasha K. lets chat about that when we meet + the other thing i posted internally (if theres any news there, if not, no pressure)
