ahhh i JUST hosted an event exactly for this for the Slack community group here in Toronto haha
I def think keep it under 5-7 channels if you can so you don't spread out activity too much
Some small tactics that build up over time that I personally like:
tag people in to respond to questions from others if you know they're good champions in the community
do some fun polls on a consistent weekly cadence (this can be about whatever you want but you'll see me doing this in the 🔒[private feed] channel with my QOTW haha and then idk if you've ever been in the Old Girls Club Slack but they have a 'check in rituals' channel that does SUPER well because its a low lift to respond (screenshot of this attached))
in person events if you can manage it!! even one a quarter at a casual coffee shop can go a long way to humanizing people behind the screen
