Gamification question: Looking to benchmark what’s considered a successful number of badges earned per month. How many are being earned in your workspaces, taking membership size into account?

I would discourage badges being about a set quantity/volume, focus rather on value created, acknowledge desired behaviors, etc. From a design perspective, it makes sense for badges to be awarded more frequently in the early stages and less as members progress, except for one-off events, milestones, etc

I have 3 that are ongoing the faster they get all 3 the better but it would be rare for them to get them all in the first month

Kaela A. you do this quite well, I know there's always a big initial wave but do you know a percentage of new members who complete the onboarding journey? (recognizing that number alone would be a very useful number for the studio - filing)

Thank you Brian K. Cheyenne R.! Great points! We have a simple onboarding 'Starter Badge' that we are trying to track and set a benchmark for. I agree that the more challenging badges are more about adding desire behavior, recognition, etc.!
