Weekday Wins
Welcome back to our brand new community series (it’s week 2), where you tell us one extra good thing that happened to you this week!
Mine, you ask?
Well, this week we kicked off our two global research workshops led by the greats Scott K. and Shannon G.! Thank you to everyone who participated (and early thank you to those in Session III next week!) I’ve already learned so much, and looking forward to learning more.
Okay what’s yours?
Building on Zach H. post… while it’s been fun working with Shannon on this research, ironically I’m doing a similar round of workshops for a non-profit in the STEM space that has physical learning centers scattered across the US. And one of the biggest gaps uncovered by executive leadership is the lack of community between their physical locations! Getting comments like, “While the annual conference is great, why can’t we have an online mechanism for building relationships and sharing best practices?“. #VivaLaCommunity
Uh, well community-unrelated, but I successfully moved my younger daughter back to her apartment for her last year of school in video game art, despite this little snafu when we were 15 mins away from her apartment (assistance was great, back in action in no time, also grateful for that)!
Work win: I hosted a community insights roundtable last thursday and got some incredible visions for what community advocacy at LucidLink could look like. They served up some ideas I never would have thought of, and I'm excited to build with them! Personal win: I adopted a kitten on Friday and he is perfect in every way
