š Private Feeds On The Companion Site (Beta)
We've reframed how feeds work and how you control their visibility on the companion site. You no longer need to create a feed for a Slack channel by hand: every channel always has a feed that acts as its outlet to your companion site, and all you do is configure each feed's visibility. By default a feed is disabled, which means it is not visible or accessible from the site at all. You can change a feed's visibility to the following options:
Disabled - not visible on the site, to any user
Public - all users can view this feed
Authenticated only* - only logged-in community members can view this feed
Feed members* (private Slack channels only) - only logged-in users that are also members of the channel/feed can view this feed
*These options are only available to customers on the Enterprise plan. Please reach out if you are interested in joining the beta.
š Slack Data Visualization Blocks
Did you know Slack launched data visualization blocks? They're pretty sweet, and they're supported in Tightknit! The new chart, line and bar graph blocks are perfect for sharing metrics, weekly updates, and dashboards from Slack straight to your community.

š ļø Improvements and Fixes Companion Forums Site
Author names now reflect renames - Fixed an issue where posts and comments sent from the companion site kept the author's original name. The byline now reflects the author's current name whenever they rename their profile.
Search now matches post titles - Searching the companion site now finds posts by words in their title, not just the body.
Fixed inline Luma embeds for luma.com links - Event links using the newer luma.com URL format now open the embedded Luma checkout inline on event pages, matching the existing lu.ma support.
Corner branding applies to post and comment buttons - Fixed buttons on posts and comments so they now follow your site's corner radius branding token.
Security hardening - A range of security hardening fixes across the companion site, including stricter content sanitization and tighter content security policies.
Studio
Publish and unpublish discussions to your site - From the Studio discussion page you can now toggle whether a post or comment appears on the companion site. Toggling a post cascades to its whole thread of replies.
Slack
Auto-created feeds for activated channels - New feeds are auto-created for all channels that are activated. By default, these are disabled and not exposed to the companion site.
Cleaner member roster - Never-joined and cancelled Slack invites are no longer synced in as member profiles.
Integrations
Clearer Salesforce setup - The Salesforce setup flow now uses a friendlier step-by-step checklist.
