Introducing an Upvote Leaderboard for Product Feedback in Our Community

We have a product feedback channel, and I would love to see another formatted page where folks can upvote feedback based on total number of emojis. I can see this page as showing the leaderboard of what features are most upvoted in the community. Instead of product sifting through slack, they can rely on the leaderboard on the community companion page.

Thanks for the feedback Eric N.! Sorry for the late reply. At a conference this week. Out of curiosity would you expect AI to group the messages posted in the channel with product feedback? I could see the interaction working on the site but wondering how you see it working in Slack.

That could be a cool idea for AI to group similar posts and compile total number of reactions or comments, but I could see the first iteration just bubbling up the messages with the most reactions as the leading product requests

Very helpful. Would you expect the emoji we track to be a standard emoji (like πŸ‘) or would we count any emoji on the post?

In an ideal world, it would be cool to see a specific emoji, but I think any emoji would work because an emoji is engagement

One reason we probably would limit it to 1 emoji is that I’d worry some users would abuse this by adding multiple emojis to push their posts to the top
