Choosing Tightknit's API vs. Slack's for Community Dashboards

I'm looking to create more comprehensive dashboards with our community data and our other analytics tool (Sundial). I have access to Slack's API and Tightknit's API. Is there a strong reason why I should use Tightknit's API over Slack for this sort of thing?

Depends on the analytics you're looking for! The Slack API will:
1.
Only get you 90 days message history if you're on Free plan
2.
Cannot get you user-specific data around messages (the API searches across channels)
What data are you hoping to pull in?
