Can We Send Awards as Personalized Messages from Individuals Instead of Bots?

i know there is a way to send welcome msg from an individual. can we do the same for awards? it would be more personal if it wont come from a bot. is this possible?

Kind of! It has to come from the bot but it can say who gave them the badge. The hard part about earning the badge in Slack is that we have a "flow" of sorts for generating the badge frame and we don't want that being done in a DM

ah i see. only concern is that members wont check the tightknit bot and prefer a personal DM

It's possible we could notify them through a DM and link to the message where they received the badge. I'll add it to the backlog
