How to Restore the Missing Tightknit Tab in the Community Instance

Hi, so i’m in our instance of the community, and i no longer can see/find the Tightknit tab that lets me access the branding and such. Is there a way to get this back?

Hey Chris K., are you referring to the admin Studio? Or within slack itself?

yeah the one that’s inside of slack, that has all the places to upload graphics, make changes etc. i forget the terminology for it

When you select the Tightknit app > "Home" tab (at the top), what do you see? We expect to see Tightknit settings. The branding settings are under the "Companion Forums Site" section > click the Branding button.

yeah i don’t have that anymore. and also i had some names in my DM’s and those are all gone too. Seems like something was reset? This is all i have now

oh bizarre. So i searched for TightKnit and it popped up. Says its still starred, but i can’t see anything that i’ve starred. So maybe thats the issue

maybe its a slack bug?

Slack has recently updated the UX for what is shown by default. If you click the ⚙️ gear in the top right, you might see a "Filter and sort" menu option to configure what is shown.
