Hi Rob B.! We are on a grandfathered free plan with Common Room. We use that for activity signals. We have workflows set up to encourage participation (mainly just reminding them what's available / what the value prop is) and then we message folks to be able to warn them when they are getting close to that 90 day period. We're very explicit about it in TCC - upfront when you're in onboarding, we talk about it in the community, and you have warnings too.

We created a "job posting" and allowed folks to apply for it. Held "conversations" not interviews, and then chose folks to fill the roles.

Thanks for the tag Max - I don't have any resources other than what's in my brain. I run a community and have volunteers that run it (myself included), what do you want to know?

To be clear: The above comment was more about how if we had ever talked about WhatsApp communities, I would have immediately stepped onto a soapbox about it.

YOU DIDN'T REALIZE THAT!? Gosh, it's my NUMBER ONE HATRED of Whatsapp communities. haha

I do have feelings about this one 😅 Anonymous posting should be completely anonymous. If there is a post that you want someone to be able to feel safe posting with their username, then my take is that you can use other methods of conveying that. Most of that comes from the reactions of you/the community to that anonymous post. Also, it could signal to your team that there is work to do to make others feel safe in future to post things like that. One way to foster that could be to share a link to a similar thread that has useful information about the anonymous share that was shared publicly. If there isn’t a thread of similar content, that should signal to your team that an activation around that content could be shared publicly down the line. My two cents!
