j z. yeah occassionally the social media team will blast one out otherwise we used to have a monthly email blast that usually includes a new showcase item. Otherwise its a main nav item on relume.io and also we’ll occasionally link showcase sites to certain component preview pages.

At the moment we have two levels - the #showcase channel which is open to all, and then our showcase on our website which is a submission into an airtable base and approved by Adam our co-founder. I’m trying to put a process around the showcase feature so its more clear to all what the criteria is. At the moment, no incentives but I could easily see that changing in the future.

yeah my first question about an assumption you are making is how would I know that this user is suspicious? Maybe you know this because of the intimacy you have with the community etc but if this user joined Relume, I don't have enough information here to make any decision or take any action. I would have to wait for a negative action from this user and react to that. I do like Andrew's suggestions for then automating some of the monitoring of that behavior and taking action on my behalf, alerting me, and then letting me review said actions.

yeah definitely makes sense

yeah absolutely - I think we have enough product data at the moment that we're not even acting on, let alone collecting even more data to only have sit there...versus creating the friction to join. Something worth looking into though.

especially when we start to shift away from Slack being used for support/reporting bugs.
