Love it 😍 Could there be a button to “Share in a LinkedIn Post” where the certificate is an image?

I just went digging Joel P. and I remembered why we can’t do this. LinkedIn doesn’t allow a share with image quick API 😞

How do folks share their badges on Linkedin? Can it be the same thing?

LinkedIn doesn’t allow any attachments on quick links sadly — so no documents and no images of the badge. We could create a “Share to LinkedIn” with just text. Would that be helpful Max P. Joel P.?

What if instead of a button, you email the member the image that they can use and share as their certificate? I know it isn't completely in slack, but still

I like that idea… BUT I will add email is a beast 🐻‍❄️ when it comes to making sure it’s white-labeled to the community. I want to get there but don’t want to make any promises yet

    • The name is customizable by the person who receives the certificate so they can have it match their true name (Slack display names are not always the best)

    • The date is not configurable and is set to the date that the user receives the badge — we’re considering a future ability to override this if needed

    • Everything else is configurable in Canva!

I mean the language in the Tightknit app message to the member who earned it.

Joel P. it’s the same process as giving out a Badge. You can update the description and provide a default message (that can be updated on a per-user basis)

Wow this is HUGE! We literally manually create and email a certificate to every member in our programs which is 100+ certificates each time 😅 this is a game-changer thank you 🙏
