Discussion on Time Binding Journeys for Motivation and Cohorts

howdy team. Curious if anyone has thoughts on Time Binding Journeys.
My thought is that by adding a deadline, we can motivate people to rise in ranks 'before the end of 2025' and then the 2025 badge, but
the flip side is that folks who join in November may be less motivated
Colleague thought we could do quarterly cohorts (which I love) but I don't see a way to duplicate journeys? Any thoughts/feelings are welcomed!

Outside of a year, what’s the difference? The 2024 vs 2025 “Discover community at (company)” badge might be the same, but a badge for very specific actions around/in a specific moment makes sense.
In my experience, the timeline isn’t the motivator. It’s things like bragging rights or prizes. We’re looking at ways to boost engagement, which means we want to move away from rewarding the bare minimum and looking to instead champion, nurture, and reward engagement. I think if your journey timeline is tied to like a social share card (built into the TightKnit application) plus another thing, you’ll definitely see the surge.
