Tightknit Release Notes (Oct 2, 2026)

The Salesforce sync now supports the option to create a Lead for community members, so new members flow straight into your sales and marketing pipeline. In Studio, go to Integrations > Salesforce, set Create Contacts or Leads to "Leads", and pick the Lead Source to stamp on every Lead Tightknit creates. Read more here.
π© Reward Members For Joining A Specific Slack Channel
Journeys have a new milestone that rewards members for joining a Slack channel, perfect for nudging new members into your intros channel or a program's dedicated space. Add the Join a specific Slack channel milestone to any journey in Studio, in Slack, or through the MCP.
π οΈ Improvements and Fixes Studio
Calendar view - The new Calendar page in the Studio shows your events, journeys and scheduled polls in month, week, 3-day and day views.
Tracking "invited" status - Members an admin adds now show as "Invited" in Studio > Members and are filterable. They are excluded from member counts and growth charts until they join by logging in to either your Slack workspace or your community site for the first time.
Export a group's members as a CSV - Download a group's current members from the β― menu on the group page or from Cmd+K.
Slack admins can sign in to Studio directly - Any admin or owner of a Slack workspace that already has Tightknit can now sign in to Studio and land in their workspace.
Choose link previews in Message Blaster - Decide whether Slack shows link previews when you send a Message Blaster message. The send dialog now has separate Recipients and Settings steps.
Engagement Rate formula revised - Engagement Rate now shows how many of your members have engaged in activity in the time window.
Community Site
Member counts you can trust - Home and feed page member counts now closer reflect the numbers you'd see in your Slack workspace, plus any Tightknit-only users on top. Bots and deactivated members are excluded. Show or hide the feed page count on its own under Site > Overview in Studio.
Easier to find in search and AI answers - Improvements to SEO for Google, Bing and AI answer engines with structured data and canonical links.
AI titles fine tuned - AI-generated post titles now attempt to preserve the author's tone.
MCP
Studio links in MCP responses - When an assistant creates or looks up an award, journey, event, post or other item, the response now includes a link that opens it in Studio.
Member count and milestone controls - Show or hide feed page member counts with edit_site_pages, and add the new channel-join milestone with the journey tools.
Feed tools return every setting - The get_feed and list_feeds tools now return every setting update_feed can change, so an agent can confirm its changes stuck.
Integrations
Salesforce Activities pick up later edits - Edits to past community activity now update the matching Salesforce Activity records, instead of Salesforce keeping the first version.
(Bugfix) Long emails no longer stall the Salesforce sync - Members with an email longer than 80 characters are skipped with a warning in Sync History, instead of blocking the whole backfill.
Misc
Only pay for members who've joined - Deactivated members no longer count toward your bill and neither do pre-join "invited" users.
