Feedback on Bug Ticket and Features: Excluding Teammates & More

Hiii - I think I submitted a bug ticket for #3 but not sure if it's better to share here. First of all, loving the option to exclude teammates! AMAZING that we have this, super happy that it's available before I meet with our VP next week! Secondly, I'm using a lot of systems where I filter results and have grown accustom to the auto-save. This would be nice to remember that I last had exclude teammates and for the studio to audio populate for me. Thirdly, should the number on the left and right match up? or does it not match up because I removed some people? 🤔 Lastly, I'd love some clarity on the difference between a reply and a discussion.

Member Growth Chart Thanks for reporting this bug. It looks like the Member Growth chart is not respecting the team member filter. This would explain the discrepancy in numbers you're seeing:
337 Total Members (excluding teammates) - this should be correct
448 new members joined - this number is probably not respecting the teammates filter
452 Total Members (on chart) - this is also not respecting the teammates filter. But it also looks like the component may not have updated from your previous date selection, based on the dates I'm seeing on x-axis. Did it refresh after your screenshot?

It hasn't refreshed yet, but I might need to clear the cache?

If you refresh the page or modify the dates, does the Members graph get updated?

re:reply vs discussion In terms of the graph, a discussion is a top-level message (aka a post), whereas a reply is a reply message (aka a comment) sent within the thread. Very open to suggestions if you find this terminology confusing! For reference Slack calls these two things message vs threaded reply... but we found that to be unclear because people think everything can be a "message".

yes if i look at the last seven days it says 7 members but the all time one (or november 2024 to date) shows what I shared in the screenshot

The Member Growth graph now respects your teammates filter, and the Studio will remember your filter settings next time you visit the page.

Thank you! I'm going to look at the new member map next when I logged in and without the filters these numbers aren't matching up for everyone either. It's only off by two people so maybe that can be explained?
