Ideas for Utilizing Tightknit Member Webhook Features

Some of you have started asking about a new Tightknit member webhook so you can create experiences when new members are added to Tightknit. I could see this being useful for custom CRMs or even custom product flows? What would you all build with this? Wondering. 🤔 thanks! Jeremy G. Saalik L. Lauren D.

This is definitely useful, though we do already have an automation set up to send their Slack ID to our CRM when a member joins the Slack workspace (which for us is the same thing as joining Tightknit). We use this to trigger additional onboarding emails, follow-up reminders for our team, etc. It's really useful to add that information to our CRM so we can send onboarding comms based on whether or not they've joined Slack yet. My two cents would be to make sure the member's Slack ID would be included in the information sent to the webhook.

This would be cool for us since we're developing interactive experiences that benefit from reactive updates:
show an animation and message "___ just joined the community!" message on an interactive mural
update visual states on a attendee's profile to highlight that they are a community member (think for an attendee directory in a conference app/website)
incorporation into an immersive experience or game that has a community membership tie-in
