Technical Limitations of Slack for Web Actions: Authentication & Comments

Is there a technical limitation (to Slack?) that limits actions like authentication, posting comments, etc from being accessible from the website?

Slack + Tightknit. For example if I wanted to reply to this post from the website rather than Slack app.
