A little backstory... We have an old limitation that the Tightknit bot's own messages cannot be synced to the companion site. Initially this was because Tightknit was sending a lot of "notification" style messages that wouldn't be valuable on the site, and we had first class support for objects related to the message, such as Events which get their own separate page.
But as you've suggested, there's still value for admins who want their Slack channel messages to closely reflect their Tightknit feed posts, bot posts and all. So we have an upcoming project to allow syncing Tightknit bot messages to the site!
This feature would let that event announcement in Slack also appear as a post on the site.
