hey team is there a way for me to get my event recap to show as a "new post" on my companion site similar to how when i add the recap the new message goes out to the channel with the updated copy? when i click post to site i cant seem to get the recap to post in the feed

is it possible to get my recap video to show in the preview to allow user to play it natively in other platforms? (its hosted in wistia)

To your first question: No, not at this time because recaps are only sent as reply messages. If you sync the message to the companion site it will be as a Comment not as a Post. Only posts will appear in Feeds. I've created a ticket for us to allow customization of where/how the recap automation happens! To the second question: Are you referring to in Slack, or on the companion site?

You can use the Send Message API, though keep in mind it has some limitations today, the primary one being it doesn't support taking Slack blocks as an input only text.

Yes, we do have much easier plans for this feature, including from within Slack. Although I cannot promise that in the short term roadmap. re:recap video Are you saying your recap video link showed up as a photo rather than a playable video?
