Matt M. I think this is the same bug I've had for quite a while. If it is, it has something to do with the toggle to switch between workspaces. I have the left nav menu hidden but I have found if I pop that out, toggle to the new workspace, it works. I then close the menu and it functions again. Maybe try that?
I also saw a Reddit thread where people said they cleared the Slack cache or deleted and reinstalled and it fixed it. I'd be curious though if the nav toggle does it for you.
