How do we find a channel on the companion site if it's not added to the sidebar? ๐ง
I made a channel in Slack, linked it to the companion site, then deleted it...and I'm trying to see if there's anything "lingering" about it online, or not
Ahhh ok I figured it out. Had to archive first then deactivate.
The Feeds section is tough for a Slack w/ a ton of channels! We have 120+ -- wish we could search through the list instead of just clicking through to find them!
<@U04V2SNHAFR> created a Feature Request <https://linear.app/tightknit/issue/ENG-5123/support-feeds-in-the-studio|ENG-5123> on behalf of <@U0BDFDFP4PJ>
Shriya N. in our latest release, we added Feed configuration in the Studio (see Changelog)! Please visit studio.tightknit.ai/~/feeds and see if that helps your understanding of feeds+channels. Open to any feedback!
And -- I'm sure the answer is "no" because it probably isn't technically feasible -- but how do I figure out if I forgot to add Tightknit to a certain channel? ๐ง
Shriya N. great ideas. Let me ask a couple questions so I get them down right.
1.
Today the Feeds list sorting order is alphabetical by feed name. Is there another sort order you'd want (e.g. by channel name)?
2.
In terms of identifying a "missing channel", what features exactly are you looking to check? Are you trying to identify which set of channels have not been "activated" for Tightknit yet?
Sorting by channel name would help, yes! The feed name is not static for us; ex. Clay's Slack has had Tightknit for 2 years and multiple channels have been added/archived/renamed/changed.
2.
Yes exactly; which channels are live in Slack, but not activated in Tightknit.
