Checking my definitions: inactive can mean that someone does log into a workspace, read but they haven't posted, replied or reacted to anything, correct? What about DMs? I want to make sure I understand the minimum threshold to be considered an active user.
Thank you. Stephen C. - That document isn't specific enough for what I'm looking for: "An inactive member starts using Slack again" is now considered active. What measurable actions are considered "using Slack"?
I guess what I am saying is that there is no only one right answer here. Slack will consider someone inactive by not signing into the platform in 28 days. So even when someone signs in, that means they are 'active' again. But you might want members who are 'active' by signing in + performing an action
Max P. so I'm not sure what you said is actually accurate. I have someone in my slack who responded to a DM yesterday but are still marked as Inactive today. I think the line is an interaction in a public channel. I want to make sure you understand I'm not missing your point because you're correct. I've got a large group and I need to tell them what they need to do to stay in at a minimum. The next step is all the cool Tightknit stuff of rewards and journeys.
I took this directly from the slack site so not too sure https://slack.com/help/articles/218915077-Slacks-Fair-Billing-Policy
May I suggest that you ask in the Slack community?
