Inquiring About Tightknit's Public Roadmap and Future Plans

Does Tightknit have a public roadmap? Curious to hear what's on the horizon, what's been asked about but not in the near-term plans. Nothing diabolical planned, just curious. 🤨

I feel like public roadmaps are a slippery slope. I guess having something to see what ideas folks submitted might be good but I’ve seen too many times where if a roadmap is public and anything gets deprioritized for any reason, it ends up being a big point of contention

Many product companies, including companies like Loom, GitHub have public roadmaps and platforms like Notion share “Founders Notes”. Not unusual and transparency benefits all.

Yeah, but those companies you listed are most likely big teams with dedicated resources. I don’t think this works well on small companies due to bandwidth, changes in priorities etc. not saying it can’t be done, I just haven’t seen this done well from previous experience.

Worked with thousands of small startups while at Productboard that also shared their direction. Size doesn't matter here.

Scott B. we've certainly thought about it. And I also enjoy public roadmaps (although rarely hold them as doctrine for the reasons that Max specified) I'll admit we were briefly at a crossroads awhile back as it was actually a product we (yes, Tightknit) considered building. However, (ironically) priorities shifted and we never got around to it. I think it could make sense to get one up and running again. We've considered ProductLane. I'll see the level of lift and process requirements it would take for us. CC Stephen C.
