Reconnecting with Community: My Journey After Layoffs

I learned about Tightknit maybe two years ago at the CMX Summit, a yearly conference and community for community managers. That’s where met Stephen, one of Tightknit’s co-founders, through a mutual friend. I met Zach later that year (or the next year) at a Salesforce event for Slack! Of course, they’d be at a Slack event! I got hit a layoff and took a nice long sabbatical. I got creative and painted. Lots of flowers and landscapes. I even enrolled in a painting course! When I started looking again, the market for community managers felt different. Let’s hope I round the corner soon and land. Nice to be here!
